Investment Bankers

Great Water Capital Partners is looking for talented professionals with investment banking experience to join our expanding practice. Candidates must be self-starters and have strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills. Candidates must also be highly flexible and comfortable working in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment.

Associate Position - The associate position is geared to highly motivated individuals with a graduate degree in business or comparable work experience. The associate will gain a broad understanding of the investment banking business by working on a variety of assignments, and will be the primary processor on a deal or proposal. He or she will master all aspects of executing a transaction and creating a new business presentation, including performing financial analysis and modeling, researching industries, preparing offering memoranda and other written materials and interacting with clients. As the associate progresses, he or she will be able to manage more aspects of a transaction and coordinate the activities of all team members, the client, the lawyers and the accountants. In preparation for an increasing role in new business development, associates are also expected to learn about the market for Great Water' services and form a network of external relationships.

Analyst Position - Great Water plans to hire highly motivated individuals for its Analyst position. An analyst will gain a broad understanding of the investment banking business by working on a variety of assignments spanning different industries. Analysts participate as full members of teams engaged in projects such as company valuation, strategic advisory and new business origination. The specific responsibilities of the analyst may include financial analysis and modeling, industry research, coordination of internal and external processes related to a financing or sale and assistance in the preparation of proposals and other written materials.

Internships

Summer Associate - The summer associate program provides students earning their MBA a challenging internship between their first and second year. A summer associate will work on a variety of assignments in order to gain a broader understanding of the investment banking business. He or she will assume responsibilities similar to that of a first-year associate to include working on tasks in multiple areas of investment banking. Each summer associate participates as a fully contributing member of selected project teams. He or she will be given the opportunity to work on live deals or deal proposals and to learn the art of executing a transaction and creating a new business presentation. Typical activities a summer associate performs include financial analysis and modeling, industry research, interaction with clients as well as other bankers, and preparation of offering memoranda and other written materials.

Summer Analyst - The summer analyst program provides college students in the summer prior to their senior year with a chance to evaluate a career in investment banking. Summer analysts are given hands-on opportunities to work as full members of client teams on a variety of transactions. They are exposed to everything a first-year analyst would experience.
